What is a giclee?

"Giclee" is a French word that has come to indicate a fine art reproduction produced by an advanced ink jet printing process. The quality of these prints rival or surpass the quality of prints produced by traditional printing methods. J.K. Drummond Giclees are printed on watercolor paper similar to the paper the original painting was painted on. The paper is acid free and the inks are archival so that your print will not fade. Like original watercolors, however, these prints should not be displayed where they receive large amounts of direct sunlight.
